Invisalign First in Eagle, CO

Eagle Orthodontics is pleased to offer a revolutionary treatment called Invisalign First. This early orthodontic system is designed for young patients with orofacial and malocclusion (misaligned bite) concerns. It helps correct them while their mouths are still growing and developing, facilitating healthier anatomy in a natural manner.

In the past, interceptive orthodontics required fixed braces and metal appliances. Like traditional treatments, Phase I braces are difficult to clean, can cause speech concerns, and are challenging to eat with.

Invisalign First changes all of that. Now your child can complete Phase I orthodontics with clear and removable aligners (just like adults!)

Advantages of Invisalign First

  • Digitally mapped for accuracy
  • Predictable outcomes
  • Convenient
  • No wires
  • Easy to clean
  • Appropriate for children as young as 6-10 years old

Since young, growing smiles are developing at accelerated rates, growth modification used to not be possible with Invisalign. But now thanks to digital imaging, dentists and orthodontists can accurately update Phase I treatments as your child’s smile continues to change. Updated technology bridges the gap between conventional braces and state-of-the-art Invisalign treatments, giving your family more options than ever.

How Invisalign First Works

A traditional Invisalign treatment case involves tooth alignment. But Phase I orthodontics have to consider jaw growth, palatal expansion, and anatomical changes in bone structure.

Invisalign First addresses concerns related to oral-facial development, so that permanent teeth erupt properly, and additional alignment problems can be avoided.  That way as adult teeth come in, they’re positioned in an ideal manner that limits the need for extensive treatment during your child’s teen years. At that point, traditional Invisalign can be used to fine tune their smile as needed.

Invisalign First aligners work similar to the clear trays used in traditional Invisalign. They are worn all day (and night) but taken out during meal times or for brushing and flossing. At specific intervals, your child progresses to the next set of Invisalign First trays to continue their tooth movement.

Does Your Child Qualify?

Since Invisalign First is a type of removable, clear braces for kids, there are a few things you’ll need to keep in mind. As their parent or caregiver, you’ll have a more hands-on approach to making sure they wear their aligners as prescribed, changing them out and cleaning them properly.
